MEMBERSHIP
There are divided into 4 categories in the Federation:
• The Members are schools or professional training institutions in the arts of circus. They are divided in three categories:
- The high schools constitute the first level. They are schools or institutions that offer training programmes in circus arts with a minimum duration of two years that prepares their students to be ready for the labour market when they graduate.
- Preparatory schools represent the second level. They are schools or institutions that offer training programmes with a minimum duration of one year. Those programmes are designed to prepare students for a professional training.
- Finally, schools or institutions that offer training programmes for teachers/trainers that lead to an official diploma in arts of circus pedagogy constitute the third level.
• Partners are associations, federations, trade unions, troupes directly linked to the creation, production or promotion of circus arts.
• Associate Members are divided into two categories:
- Members with a legal status. These are associations, schools and clubs that offer training programmes in circus arts within a framework of leisure activity, artistic development in the education sector or for the aims of social insertion.
• Individual Members. These are persons that have a direct association with practice, the training, or the development of circus arts. Associated Members can participate in General Assembly meetings as observers. They have no deliberative voice, but can be consulted on matters.
