Admission procedure
a) Effective members
• 1. The applying school writes to the FEDEC president to formulate its application.
• 2. The applying school gets a validation file to fill in. This file deals with all organizational and pedagogical aspects of the school: legal and administrative structure, budget, infrastructure and equipment, teaching profession, security, medical follow-up, pedagogical contents of the training.
• 3. Each school gets a code of ethics to sign. By signing it, the school commits itself to respect all principles.
• 4. After the FEDEC gets the school's validation file, a person chosen by the Board makes a visit of the applying school. There, the FEDEC representative meets the teaching profession and the students of the school. The representative has a "candidate guide", which is a questionnaire that makes the visit objective and completes the missing data which may be missing in the validation file. Expenses for this visit will be shared between FEDEC and the applying school: FEDEC pays travel and catering costs for the visitor and the applying school pays the accommodation costs for the visitor (in a three stars hotel).
• 5. The FEDEC representative reports the information of his visit to the Board.
• 6. The whole file of the applying school is shown to the FEDEC general assembly, in the presence of the applying school. The general assembly, on Board's advice, judges the admission of the school as an effective member without appeal.
• 7. The membership is taken into account as soon as the annual dues (1000_) are paid.
